When Clayton first walked through the doors of the property that would become Kembali, it had been abandoned for ten years. The house was dirty and needed considerable work, but a breeze met his face and the views opened out before him. There was something about the place—an energy and a feeling—that told him it was special.
Nine months of renovation followed, restoring the property and preparing it to welcome clients. Clayton and his wife, Dewi, made it their home for the first seven years, shaping its spaces through the everyday experience of living here.
Now, ten years after finding this location, Kembali continues to grow. Four new bungalows, a gym, gazebo, yoga room, sauna, ice bath, and additional private counselling rooms have been added along the way. Creating the lush gardens has been one of the most meaningful parts of that work, bringing life back to a once-abandoned property.
Although Clayton and Dewi no longer live on the property full time, it still feels like home. That feeling remains at the heart of what we want each person to experience when they arrive: serenity, warmth, and a place where they can begin to settle in.

In Tegenungan village, just a five-minute walk from the waterfall, Kembali sits among rice fields and lush tropical gardens. A gentle breeze moves through the open spaces, while a small river runs through the property, bringing the sound of flowing water into everyday life.
Garden pathways connect the main house, private bungalows, and shaded places to sit. Palms, flowering trees, and layered greenery create little pockets of privacy—a favourite chair for reading, a quiet spot for morning coffee, or somewhere to share a conversation between sessions.
The curved infinity pool overlooks the rice fields, with space beside the water to stretch out and unwind. Throughout the grounds, comfortable furnishings and carefully tended gardens bring the ease of a tropical retreat together with the warmth of a much-loved home.
