Modalities
While the primary focus at our rehab is on drug and alcohol recovery, we recognize that balance is key to a healthy, sober life. Embracing various forms of self-care are great practice when it comes to long-term recovery. By incorporating things like yoga, jogging, and breathwork into our clients’ everyday lives, we hope to instill in them the desire to embrace lasting healthy habits, helping them to stay on track for years to come.

Experiential Learning
One of Kembali’s most unique features is that clients will have the experience of participating in a 2.5 day experiential learning workshop called Connections. By interacting in small and large group exercises, clients learn to develop a deeper self-awareness, opening the door to healthy change and personal miracles while creating powerful connections within the group. Connections owner, Terry Lige, has graciously granted Kembali permission to incorporate these workshop into their recovery program.

Silent Meditative Walk
Begin the day by nourishing your mind, body, and soul during our daily morning walk or jog to the Tegenungan Waterfall, just minutes from the Kembali Villa. Here you’ll have the opportunity to bathe in fountains, enjoy breathtaking views, get your cardio in, and experience serenity. A dense jungle of foliage surrounds the falls, and it’s an easy hike down the pebbly base where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the plunge pool.

Group Sessions And Private Counseling
The practice of counseling is instrumental in the process of self-discovery, particularly while on the road to recovery. Our counseling sessions are held on site in a safe environment and include topics ranging from the effects of drugs and alcohol, to withdrawal symptoms, to family dynamics. We’ll work in groups and individually for our sessions, empowering you to define your own personal goals and values as you embark on a journey toward healthy change, free from mind altering substances.

Massage / Reflexology
While there’s a marked correlation between prolonged substance abuse and the separation of mind and body, massage and other bodywork helps repair communication between the two. Throughout the recovery process, massage can help boost the immune system, relieve pain through detox, and reduce cravings. Weekly massages by a certified masseuse will take place on site.

Yoga/Singing Bowl Meditation
We will be leading weekly group yoga classes on site, designed to challenge students physically, while helping them to restore the body and find balance in their everyday lives. Counsellor Mark Beesley will also be incorporating Singing Bowl meditation which induces deep, peaceful states, clarity of mind and intuition. The sound vibrations impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation reflex and inhibiting the stress or pain response.

12-Step Meetings
12-Step meetings are an integral part of recovery for many addicts, helping them to stay sober and become the best versions of themselves. Kembali clients will attend 12-Step meetings in Ubud, and also on site. We encourage clients to continue attending meetings following their stay with us.
